Veneers are a thin, custom porcelain or resin
facing that is cemented on to the front of a tooth. It is similar to the look of a false fingernail which is custom designed
to fit the tooth. You can change the tooth color, width or length of a tooth. Some veneers are used to cover a chipped tooth.
If the chip too large a crown or bonding has to be done to restore the tooth. Most of the time only a paper thin layer of
enamel has to removed to allow room to place the veneer. Some of the newer veneers do not require any removal of the tooth.
